Mahabaleshwar is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Maharashtra, known for its pleasant weather, greenery, and peaceful vibes. Recently, we planned a short trip to Mahabaleshwar–Panchgani–Bhilar village, and it turned out to be a refreshing and memorable experience.

Venna Lake – Calm & Scenic

Venna Lake is one of the most peaceful and scenic spots in Mahabaleshwar. Surrounded by greenery and hills, the lake offers a calm environment to relax and enjoy nature. Walking around the lake and spending time near the water was refreshing.

Boating is also available at Venna Lake and is a popular activity among visitors. The area around the lake has small food stalls and shops, making it a nice place to spend quality time with family and friends.

Mapro Garden – A Treat for Food Lovers

After spending some peaceful time at Venna Lake, we headed to Mapro Garden, one of the most popular places in Mahabaleshwar. Mapro Garden was lively and full of energy, with many tourists enjoying food and shopping. We tried fresh strawberry-based items, delicious sandwiches, and hot chocolates, which felt perfect in the cool weather.

Mapro Garden is especially famous for its strawberry with fresh cream and wood-fired pizza. Although we didn’t get a chance to try these items, they are highly recommended and loved by many visitors.

The garden area is ideal for relaxing, clicking photos, and enjoying good food. Don’t forget to visit the Mapro store to buy chocolates, syrups, jams, and many more delicious products to take home.

Stay at Gurusparsh Resort – Peaceful & Relaxing

We stayed at Gurusparsh Resort, located near Panchgani–Bhilar village. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a calm, peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Evenings at the resort were especially pleasant, with beautiful views, relaxing walks, and quality time spent with loved ones.

The resort also has Sakhatrupti Restaurant for food. Meals were not included in our room package, so food needs to be paid for separately. However, the restaurant serves authentic, tasty food with good quality, and the overall dining experience was satisfying.

Overall, Gurusparsh Resort is a great choice for a peaceful getaway close to nature.

Activities at Gurusparsh Resort – Fun Evenings & Adventure

Gurusparsha Resort offers many activities that make the stay more enjoyable. They organize movie nights, barbeque evenings, bonfire sessions, and jungle safari experiences.

Some activities are complimentary, while others are paid and chargeable, depending on the activity. The barbeque and bonfire evenings were especially enjoyable and perfect for spending time with family and friends. Sitting near the bonfire, enjoying food, and relaxing under the open sky created beautiful memories.

The resort is ideal if you want to stay away from city noise and enjoy nature.

Panchgani & Bhilar Gaon – Nature at Its Best

Visiting Panchgani and Bhilar Gaon was one of the highlights of our trip. Bhilar, known as the “Village of Books,” is calm, scenic, and unique. The roads, hills, and fresh air made the journey truly enjoyable.
