Devkund Waterfall is a very beautiful waterfall in Maharashtra. It is near Bhira village in Raigad district. The water is clean and clear, and the place is full of green trees and nature. The area is quiet and calm, which makes it a nice place to visit. This trip to Devkund Waterfall also included a visit to Gagangiri Maharaj Math, Khopoli, which added a spiritual touch to the journey.

Location & How to Reach Devkund Waterfall

Devkund Waterfall is near Bhira Dam. It is about 170 km from Mumbai and around 110 km from Pune. To reach Devkund, travel from Mumbai or Pune towards the Khopoli – Pali – Bhira road. The trek starts from Bhira village. Parking is available near the village, and local guides are also available. It is best to start early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the place peacefully.

Devkund Waterfall Trek Experience

The trek to Devkund Waterfall is around 4–5 km (one way) and takes approximately 2.5–3 hours depending on your pace.

On the way back, I visited Gagangiri Maharaj Math in Khopoli, a peaceful and spiritual place.

Gagangiri Maharaj was a revered saint, and the Math attracts devotees from all over Maharashtra. The calm atmosphere, simple architecture, and positive energy make it a perfect place to relax after an adventurous trek.
